Welcome, my fellow citizens! Today, I’m going to show you how to loot cool armor on Hurston. We are heading to the Distribution Center, and I will guide you through every step, detailing what you need to know and what you need to have to get cool armor. Let’s have fun, citizens!
Step 1: Head to Everest Harbor on Hurston
Once you’re there, go into the elevator and head to the Cargo Center. Go all the way back; you can buy a tractor beam here if you need it. This is what we want to buy: either 1, 2, 4, or 8 SCU, depending on the size of your ship and what you want to carry around. Then, go to Personal Weapons and buy either the Pyro Multitool, which has a lower reach, or the Max Tractor Beam. I also have a Pyro Multitool, but I’ll bring it instead of this because it has a better range and is a little bit stronger.
Step 2: Select Your Ship
Go to your hangar and select the ship that you have. Ideally, you want to have a Pisces Rescue or Cutlass Red. I have both, but I will use the Pisces Rescue because it’s a smaller, more nimble ship. I prefer the blue one to match my UND suit.
Step 3: Set Your Imprint
Set your imprint on Everest Harbor because if you die, you will respawn here again. Do not set an imprint until you land safely behind the Distribution Center. This step is very important; do not forget it like I just did. You have to bring your cargo with you.
Step 4: Prepare Your Cargo
Go to your Freight Elevator Manager, select containers, then select one SCU cargo box and two SCU boxes. You can maybe bring one or two inside the Pisces, but if you have a Cutlass Red, you can bring, I think, two of the eight SCU storage containers. I’m not sure, but one definitely fits. Prepare your tractor beam and try to fit a size two container. I think we can strip two or three armors, which is really nice inside of this. The best way is to go like here, rotate, and the doors will open, allowing you to shove the box inside nicely.
Step 5: Approach the Distribution Center
As soon as you start to approach, be very careful. If you’re coming from the front part of the Distribution Center, go behind because all of the turrets can shoot longer at you when you are flying directly at them. Go behind and then approach from there. It may take a little time, but it can definitely save your life. Enjoy the process by gazing up at the beautiful mountains, clouds, and sun.
Step 6: Land Safely
Land behind the Distribution Center. If you tuck the ship very nicely, the turrets cannot reach you. Fingers crossed that we do not die. Switch to the shields if they start to shoot; at least we have something to defend ourselves. Because we are small, they will not be easy to hit. If the server is bad, I might just slip under the radar. Yep, did it! Hopefully, I’m still alive and the server is not that bad. I managed to land safely.
Step 7: Prepare for Looting
Once you’re safely down, go back to your ship. Come with only an undersuit because you can take one armor on yourself too. Just bring the gun, some ammunition, and, of course, the tractor beam. Now, we are going to go to the Regeneration and transfer our imprint inside of our Pisces. Job done. If we die, we will respawn here.
Step 8: Engage the Guards
Be very careful when you’re killing your first victim because you do not have defenses on you. You don’t have armor, so maybe leave the box somewhere nearby and just go and kill the guards. Then come back for the box and collect it. This is a hostile territory, and they will shoot at you on sight. The problem with this Distribution Center is that the guards can appear and spawn behind you, so be careful. Make sure no one can shoot you while you loot.
Step 9: Loot and Extract
Open storage and drag everything inside only if you are in a safe place. Loot the guards and collect the armor. Be aware that the guards can respawn, so always stay vigilant. Once you have collected enough armor, head back to your ship.
Step 10: Transfer and Store Your Loot
Transfer everything back to storage or go to the infirmary to fix yourself if you are injured. If you don’t want to do that, just kill your character and respawn in your Pisces.
